PEAK Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Record Center Specialist to handle physical storage tasks. The role will involve moving, lifting, and loading storage boxes, often weighing from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs, using carts and pallet jacks as needed.

Responsibilities include processing orders, tracking items in a proprietary system, and operating scanners. The position requires frequent kneeling, bending, and climbing, with a standard 5-day work week and full on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Capability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Proficiency in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Lift and carry boxes weighing between 10-100 lbs regularly without assistance.
• Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
