Midway Staffing is seeking a Record Center Specialist to support warehouse operations by processing orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining records in a fast-paced environment. This role is physical and requires attention to detail, safe handling, and the ability to work independently while meeting productivity goals.

The position is based in Houston, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime may be available based on business needs; pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, records management, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal inventory systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, crawl, bend, and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly without assistance.
• Comfortable working on uneven or concrete surfaces throughout the shift.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights safely.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Process incoming and outgoing orders for files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other stored materials.
• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes manually and with equipment.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move boxes weighing between 10 lbs and 50 lbs regularly without assistance.
• Read labels and accurately track materials using proprietary computer systems.
• Operate handheld scanners to process orders and locate inventory.
• Load and unload boxes onto pallets, carts, and trucks manually or with material handling aids.
• Operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Shrink wrap pallets and prepare shipments for transport.
• Retrieve and store materials using ladders while maintaining balance and safety.
• Maintain inventory organization and ensure storage areas remain orderly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
