Job summary

Vanguard Skin Specialists in Colorado Springs is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon to join our growing dermatology and plastic surgery practice. The role focuses on in-office Mohs reconstruction with time allocated for building a cosmetic practice.

You will work with a collaborative team across dermatology, Mohs, and plastics, delivering high-quality patient care while supporting community service and growth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon.
• Active CO medical license at start.
• Extensive experience with in-office Mohs reconstruction.
• Alignment with Vanguard’s mission and values.
• Ability to build and lead a patient-centric practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-office Mohs reconstruction and related procedures.
• Schedule 2–3 in-office days and 2 days for building plastic/cosmetic practice.
• Collaborate with dermatology and plastics teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain patient relationships and contribute to practice growth.

Internal referrals will help you build your patient base. Schedule is approximately 2-3 days/week for in-office procedures including surgical excisions and reconstruction following Mohs surgery. 2 days/week are available for you to build your plastic and cosmetic surgery practice.
