Job summary

Gurr Brothers Construction seeks an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to lead residential and light commercial rebuilds from approved scope to final completion. You will manage scheduling, subcontractors, site activity, and client communications to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have hands-on reconstruction or insurance repair experience, with strong organizational and customer-service skills. Travel to active job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of project management experience in reconstruction, restoration, or related construction work.
• Strong background managing residential and/or light commercial rebuild projects.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and multiple active jobs simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project workflows.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to read scopes of work, estimates, blueprints, and construction documentation.
• Comfortable traveling to job sites and maintaining driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reconstruction projects from approved scope through final completion
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, schedules, and field activity across multiple active projects
• Conduct regular job-site inspections to monitor quality, schedule adherence, safety, and progress
• Communicate consistently with customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and manage project documentation including notes, photos, permits, change orders, and progress updates
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries to maintain efficient job flow
• Resolve project issues related to scheduling, materials, workmanship, customer concerns, and field conditions
• Monitor timelines, budgets, collections, and job performance to stay on track
• Maintain high level of customer service through proactive communication and quality execution
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and company policies
