Job summary

Bobmooredodgechryslerjeep is seeking a Reconditioning Technician in Edmond, OK to perform repair, replacement, and restoration of automotive parts at our collision center. You will meet efficiency and profitability benchmarks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Reconditioning Technician - Collision Center

Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

• Responsible for the repair, replacement and restoration of various automotive parts daily
• Meet management's benchmarks for sales per repair order, gross profit, repairs per day
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects
• Communicate with dealerships regarding status of repairs
• Ensure that procedures are followed to properly protect vehicles
• Maintain good housekeeping of work area
• Usespersonal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
• Must follow safety precautions specific to work area and immediately report any-and-all accidents to a manager/supervisor
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

• Valid driver's license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Preferred High School Education or equivalent
• Preferred completion of Vocational Program or two years auto repair experience

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs and the employee is occasionally required to lift in excess of 100 lbs with proper assistance
• The employee will frequently be exposed to loud noises and must be able to locate and discriminate sounds in this loud environment
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle
