Job summary

Better Collision Centers in Moncks Corner, SC is hiring a Collision Repair Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition and deliver a world-class customer experience. You will perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly, ensure frame and body alignment to OEM standards, and use modern tools to achieve high-quality results.

You will collaborate with teammates to meet repair timelines and KPIs while maintaining safety and quality commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair methods, tools, and procedures.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs in a shop environment.

What You Bring

• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
• Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade
• Other Requirements: Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
• Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
