Description

Member First Mortgage is seeking a Reconciliations Specialist for our growing Accounting team. This role provides support to the investor accounting function through maintenance of reconciliations, accounting records, and reports. The position involves routine tasks within the Accounting Department according to established procedures. Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily reconciliation of Daily Clearing and Disbursement Clearing accounts; monthly reconciliation of other cash accounts; daily balancing, transfers, and settlements.
  • Handle unclaimed property reporting and other monthly settlements, such as Corporate and Escrow Advances & CU P&I; resolve investor issues.
  • Provide support to other accounting areas as needed.

Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree or recognized industry certifications equivalent to a degree (e.g., IT certifications).

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of accounting functions and processes.
  • Ability to research and stay updated on investor rules and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under strict timelines with minimal errors and supervision.
  • Proficiency in Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds; extended hours in front of a computer; use of hands for typing; speaking and listening on the phone.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily remote, working in a home office setting.
