Job summary

Olin is seeking a Reclamation Pulldown Specialist at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. The position offers hourly pay of $28.33 and a 4-10 schedule (Mon–Thu, 6:00am–4:30pm). The role focuses on mechanical adjustments and repairs to automated production equipment in the reclamation/pulldown area.

The job requires a high school diploma and demonstrated experience with machine operation, tooling, and precision measurement. Weekend/overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in machine operation.
• Experience operating mechanical equipment or heavy equipment; forklift certification preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of automated equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machines, performs mechanical adjustments, and repairs production equipment.
• Visual inspections of parts and components, including sorters, rumblers, and bullet shears.
• Removes, installs, and adjusts jams, defective materials, and related components using hand tools for proper alignment.
• Replace minor parts and make minor adjustments to keep the line running.
• Collaborate with maintenance for major repairs and provide recommendations based on knowledge of machine parts and observations.
