Job summary

Valley View Animal Hospital in Windsor, CO, is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our growing team. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, handle appointments, and process payments, while supporting DVMs and maintaining accurate records.

We value a compassionate presence, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy practice. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support our Urgent Care hours.

Come join our dynamic team at Valley View Animal Hospital in Windsor, CO!Our team works together to provide accessible and high-quality care to our patients. We are well staffed and always re-evaluating our staffing needs as we continue to grow. We currently have an amazing team of receptionists, RVTs and experienced veterinary assistants to help support our DVMs. A welcoming and positive culture is of utmost importance to our leadership team, and we work hard to maintain work/life balance while still helping as many pets as we can.Valley View Animal Hospital offers comprehensive small animal medical services across a wide schedule, including Urgent Care available Monday through Saturday from noon to 10 PM. We are a well-equipped hospital, with the tools to provide excellent care. We have in-house laboratory machines (CBC, Chemistry, Sedivue, InvueDx, aPTT/PTT), an electrosurgery unit, as well as a well-stocked pharmacy both in clinic and online through VetCove. We have digital radiography and all of our radiographs are sent out for review. We also work with local radiologists for in-clinic diagnostic ultrasounds and have our own ultrasound unit for cystocentesis and FAST scans.Our dedication to superior patient care has earned the community's trust, reflected in our excellent 4.7-star Google rating. • Be the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
• Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.
