Job Title: Receptionist

Location: New York, New York

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office

Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours

About the Role:

We are seeking a polished, professional, and proactive Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a finance-related environment who thrives in a fast-paced office and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients and guests. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to support light administrative tasks across the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
  • Schedule and manage meeting rooms and appointments as needed
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with light administrative duties.
  • Support internal teams with ad hoc requests to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of receptionist experience in a finance or professional services environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic setting
