Job summary

Cavender Auto Family is seeking a part-time Receptionist at Cavender Subaru of Midland Odessa in Midland, Texas. You will be the first point of contact for customers, answering phones, greeting guests, and logging relevant information with a friendly, professional demeanor.

With a focus on accurate record keeping and courteous service, you will support the dealership’s mission to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous receptionist experience: automotive dealership preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a professional manner, within three rings, and transfer customers promptly to appropriate destination.
• Take messages from customer when desired person is unavailable or at customer request.
• Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly; provide timely, friendly, professional service.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to inquiries, asking questions to identify needs, and resolving concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Call customers when license plates come in and keep a license plate log for accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

Here Is What You Will Need

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
• Previous Receptionist experience: automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills including usage of Inventory Control software, Internet and Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility in schedule, to accommodate business needs
