Job summary

Blueridge Vista Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Receptionist to be the welcoming first voice for patients and visitors at our Cincinnati hospital. You will manage multi-line calls, greet guests, process check-ins, and support privacy and safety in a busy environment.

You will coordinate with nursing, security, and daytime teams to keep care plans moving, handle mail and scheduling, and assist with basic EMR tasks. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Computer proficiency and attention to detail.
• Professionalism, empathy, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phones; greet visitors; manage check-in and badges per policy.
• Coordinate visitor schedules with nursing and security; uphold privacy and safety.
• Handle mail, scanning, and basic EMR and scheduling tasks.
• Maintain a calm lobby environment, even during busy times.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
