Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

A global hedge fund is seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with strong administrative and communication skills to join their new Midtown East office. The role involves supporting front desk operations and a team of 2-3 Associates.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Polished, detail-oriented, organized, and upbeat
  • 2+ years of relevant corporate experience, ideally in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or similar financial services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and Slack
  • Flexible to stay late when needed
  • Self-starter with good judgment and initiative
Responsibilities
  1. Answer and route main telephone line
  2. Greet and direct high volume of guests
  3. Manage conference room bookings and prepare rooms for video/audio conferences
  4. Stock and tidy conference rooms, order catering
  5. Stock pantry items and office supplies
  6. Assist with special meetings and in-house events
  7. Schedule complex meetings and logistics for team members
  8. Set up conference calls and team events
  9. Book external meals ensuring professional standards
  10. Assist with electronic files and document editing
  11. Coordinate travel arrangements with the corporate travel agency
  12. Process expense reports using Concur and Workday
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 base + paid OT + discretionary bonus (up to 10%) + fully paid benefits, 4 weeks PTO, holidays, fitness reimbursement, 401k match, additional performance bonuses, and "Work from Anywhere" weeks in August & December (2 weeks each).

Work Schedule and Location

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, in-office in Midtown East, with occasional flexibility for later evenings and a 30-minute lunch break.
