Job summary

Children’s Medical Center in Florida is seeking a full-time receptionist to support our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides administrative support to patients, families, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis. Benefits include PTO, health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and a 401(k) with profit sharing after one year.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• 1–2 years experience in the medical or customer service field preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls; schedule and confirm appointments.
• Greet and check in patients; maintain demographic, insurance, and pharmacy information.
• Verify insurance, collect copays/balances, and assist with basic billing inquiries.
• Scan and manage patient documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate interpreter services and address patient communication needs.
• Monitor reception area; maintain a welcoming environment.
• Process medical record requests, forms, and daily reports/deposits.
• Ensure confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards.
