Job summary

Valley View Care Center in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time receptionist for evening shifts. You will greet residents, families, and visitors, answer phones, and support staff in a friendly, professional manner.

This role requires basic computer skills, clear English communication, and strong customer service. Prior long-term care experience is preferred. We offer a competitive starting wage and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet residents, family members, and visitors in person or over the phone.
• Answer phones in a professional manner and route callers as needed.
• Maintain weekly schedules for administrative staff and other staff, as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive resident, employee, and facility information.
• Update facility phone listing, as needed.

The Receptionist functions as the primary contact person for in-coming calls and greeting all visitors. This position is also responsible for providing a variety of administrative and clerical support. This position requires the following schedule:

How you will help people every day:

• Strong customer service focus, with a kind and caring demeanor and ability to demonstrate compassion in a long-term care environment.
• Prior experience at a Long-Term Care facilitypreferred
