Receptionist at Highland Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

Join us to apply for the Receptionist role at Highland Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, evening and weekend hours
  • Long-term care/skilled nursing facility

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate telephone systems, answer, screen, or forward calls, provide information, take messages, or schedule appointments
  2. Greet residents, families, and employees; determine the nature and purpose of visits; direct or escort visitors
  3. Maintain excellent customer service and communication skills
  4. Assist residents, handle issues with residents, vendors, and family members
  5. Communicate effectively with staff to ensure efficient facility operations
  6. Create a warm, positive, and calm environment throughout the facility
  7. Monitor entrance to prevent residents from leaving unattended if confused
  8. Update and maintain resident funds records
  9. Maintain confidentiality of residents' care information and funds following HIPAA guidelines
  10. Perform light clerical work and multitask as needed
  11. Assist other personnel as requested

Qualifications:

  • Availability for evening and weekend hours
  • Knowledge of office equipment; computer skills in Word and Excel a plus
  • Prior receptionist or clerical experience preferred
  • Experience in long-term care is a plus
