Full job description

We are hiring remote medical receptionists based in India to support a U.S.-based medical practice. This is a full-time, work-from-home position where you will answer incoming phone calls from patients, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have experience working in a U.S. healthcare call center, U.S. medical office, or have handled calls for U.S. banks or insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls from U.S. patients professionally and courteously.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using the medical practice’s system.
  • Update patient information accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Assist callers with questions regarding services, insurance, billing, and policies.
  • Escalate urgent or emergency calls appropriately.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in U.S. healthcare call centers, U.S. medical reception, or U.S. banking support.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a quiet home office setup and high-speed internet.
Preferred Backgrounds
  • Experience with U.S. medical BPO processes
  • Virtual assistance for U.S. clinics or hospitals
  • Customer support experience in U.S. insurance or banking sectors
  • Familiarity with EMR platforms like Athenahealth or Kareo (preferred)
