Dyer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones, and coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth, secure environment for residents and families.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse team in a supportive, professional setting. Flexible day/evening shifts and rotating holidays are available onsite.

Responsibilities

• Enforce security procedures and issue visitor badges.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and compliant with regulations.
• Document important actions and operational needs for continuity.
• Assist team with additional tasks as needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist visitors, directing them appropriately.
• Notify staff of visitor arrivals and maintain communication.
• Manage the telecommunications system and handle inquiries.
• Maintain and update employee and department directories.
• Ensure security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
• Document and communicate important actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to support workplace continuity.
• Contribute to the team by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
