Lakeshore Talent in downtown Denver is seeking a part-time contract Receptionist to provide front desk and administrative support for a polished, welcoming, and well-organized workplace.
The role is the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests, requiring a warm, professional, and proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment. Parking is included and the schedule totals 24 hours/week.
The Receptionist provides front desk and administrative support for a downtown Denver office. This role is the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests and helps maintain a welcoming, polished, and well-organized workplace. The ideal candidate is warm and professional, highly reliable, organized, and proactive, with a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Position type: Contract (part-time)
Assignment length: Now through December 31, 2026, with potential extension
Schedule (24 hours/week):
Monday–Thursday: 12:30 PM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Parking: Included (garage)
Pay rate: $25–$30/hour
Dress code: Professional / polished
Work setting: On-site
Greet, assist, and sign in visitors; maintain visitor logs
Manage badges (print, distribute, collect) and coordinate badge tracking with building/security partners
Validate parking for guests and assist with parking-related needs
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front desk and common areas
Support conference rooms: set up/break down rooms and proactively reset rooms between meetings
Monitor meeting schedules, guest arrivals, and conference room usage
Manage office supplies, snacks, and beverages; restock as needed
Keep kitchen/common areas organized, including loading/unloading the dishwasher as needed
Order supplies as requested; submit building work orders when necessary
Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; assist with outgoing shipments
Support office culture and events (team lunches, celebrations, employee events), including catering setup/breakdown
Welcome new hires and help orient them to office procedures and key areas
Review office voicemails and route messages appropriately
Provide general administrative support (files, records, correspondence, and other materials)
Support HR/IT needs such as distributing/shipping swag or equipment
Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure appropriate front desk coverage
High School Diploma or GED
Prior administrative and/or receptionist experience
Strong customer service orientation with polished, professional communication
Strong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and follow-through
Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort learning new digital tools
Team-oriented; able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization
Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills
Background in customer-facing roles (hospitality/restaurant experience is a plus)
2+ years of office experience (preferred, not required)
Ability to perform computer-related work and general office duties
Frequently lift or move up to 20 lbs; occasionally lift or move up to 30 lbs
