Job summary

Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated receptionist and call center associate for the Olin Clinic in Madison. The dual-role position covers on-site reception duties and a Call Center with a hybrid work arrangement after a 90-day intro period.

All initial shifts are on-site at the Olin clinic. You will handle member and staff calls, messages, appointments, and co-pay information while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six (6) months of customer service experience.
• Experience in Medical Reception or Call Center preferred.
• Ability to pass skill checks in reception and telephone communications.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA knowledge.
• Familiarity with computer programs including databases, word processing, and email.
• Ability to use electronic medical records systems.
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from members, co-workers, and staff and relay messages promptly.
• Schedule follow-up and routine appointments.
• Inform members of co-payments and fees due at service time.
• Provide general information and assist with inquiries.
• Work under the supervision of the Call Center Supervisor.
