Job summary

Bergstrom Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking a Receiving Specialist to unload trucks, verify counts, and place items in correct warehouse locations. This 1st shift role runs Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and uses JD Edwards and RFGen for data entry.

You will support accuracy, operate basic material handling equipment, and assist with invoice reconciliation as needed. The position requires a high school education and at least a few months of experience in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math.
• Minimum of 3 months experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts, drexel, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies.
• Using JDE and RFGen on an intermediate level for data entry.
• Receive and put away supplies and parts daily in proper warehouse location.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or records.
• Operates printers and label printers.
• Maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis (time entry).
• Unloading trucks, loads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Back up other Receiving Specialists as needed.
