Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Receiving Warehouse Person for 1st shift in Rice Lake, WI. The role involves loading, unloading, and handling materials with a lift truck, following procedures, and maintaining a safe workspace. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with overtime during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Team-oriented mindset with safety focus.
• Ability to follow processes and safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Unload, check, weigh, and sign for incoming material.
• Operate lift truck to move, stack, and deliver material.
• Process outgoing shipments and load cartons efficiently.
• Complete daily truck and trailer inspections and equipment checks.
• Report malfunctions and keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and notify supervisors of issues.
