Job Summary
The Warehouse Receiving Associate strives to exceed customer expectations by ensuring orders are available, accurate, salable, and received in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions

Receiving
- Unloads, inspects, counts, and signs for inbound packages and skids from carriers
- Sorts skids and/or packages by business unit
- Utilizes a pack slip or printout of the purchase order that corresponds to the product received
- Matches product received to purchase order/pack slip and enters quantity into computer, or scans product received
- Enters accurate information into computer system
- Places product in appropriate container, cart, pallet, or skid
- Brings product to staging area for put away
- Identifies non-conformances (e.g., item count, product description, product damage) and forwards to Overpayment & Damage Clerk (OS&D)
Bulk Receiving
- Assesses accuracy and integrity of all incoming palletized shipments (package count, damage, correct address), prints Purchase Order, identifies all items against purchase order
- Accurately and efficiently enters all receiving transactions into the computerized inventory systems
- Identifies and corrects inventory errors; alerts OS&D to irregularities in product inventory (count and location errors, shortages, damage)
DSCSA
- Authenticates all products and drugs received at the fulfillment center
- Contacts vendors to verify the product received and processed with lot number; performs this for every Pedigree drug
- Collects paperwork from vendors verifying custody of the drug

- Uses assigned warehouse equipment/machinery
- Meets/exceeds performance metrics and KPIs
- Maintains an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
- Handles hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs per company procedures and laws
- Follows safety and regulatory guidelines
- Performs other assigned tasks
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Proficient in PC/keyboarding; familiar with MS Office and email
- Ability to read, write, and count
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Ability to train and certify use of forklifts (sit-down, cherry picker, or Joey forklift)
Working Conditions
- Lifts/carries up to 55 pounds; team lifts 56-100 pounds
- Sitting or standing, continuous or occasional physical activity
- Use of hands, stooping, bending, crawling, ladder climbing
- No weekly travel; on-call not required
- Exposure to dust
Potential compensation range: $17.88 - $21.92. Final offer depends on location, experience, and skills.
