Canon-Business-Process-Services-f89af7fd is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate in Pennsylvania to handle receiving, unpacking, and preparation of shipments against POs for delivery. You will also process returns, record shipment data, and maintain logs of all shipments.

The role requires basic education, 0–1 year experience, and knowledge of carriers, customs, and shipping regulations. Physical duties include lifting up to 40 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of general job duties and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties, and shipping regulations; familiarity with internal tools.

Overview

Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO's) for delivery
• Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
• Prepare daily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year experience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
• Some knowledge of the job
• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
• Knowledge & application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
• Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
