Job summary

Canon-Business-Process-Services-f89af7fd is hiring for a shipping/receiving role in the United States. You will receive materials, unpack against POs, and prepare items for return shipments while recording weights and space available.

Candidate should have basic knowledge of carriers, tracking systems, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent customer service and professional appearance are required, with overtime flexibility to meet deadlines and help maintain accurate logs and daily reports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year experience in shipping/receiving or office environment.
• Basic knowledge of domestic and international shipping carriers and regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials against POs for delivery.

Overview

Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO’s) for delivery
• Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
• Prepare daily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year experience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
• Some knowledge of the job
• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
• Knowledge & application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
• Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
