Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking a warehouse/shipping clerk to receive and unpack medical supplies, prepare orders for return shipments, and record shipment data. The role requires light experience in shipping/receiving, strong customer service, and the ability to maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping basics and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials against POs for delivery.
• Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipments.
• Record shipment data, weight, charges, and space.
• Report damages and discrepancies for reimbursement or re-shipment.
• Maintain logs of all shipments incoming and outgoing.
• Prepare daily reports to measure productivity and billing.

Overview

Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO’s) for delivery
• Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
• Prepare daily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year experience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
• Some knowledge of the job
• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
• Knowledge & application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
• Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
