Job summary

Ollie is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensuring accurate freight flow to the sales floor and adherence to visual merchandising standards.

You will manage back stock, handle damaged goods disposition, and supervise associates to maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area and maintain a safe dock.
• Confirm the accuracy of incoming merchandise and set up displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of associates assisting with freight flow.
• Act as Manager on Duty and perform additional store responsibilities as assigned.
