Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensure accurate freight flow to the sales floor, and maintain back stock per the store’s receiving area plan.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, verifying vendor deliveries, merchandising displays, and supervising Associates, with Manager on Duty responsibilities including opening and closing the store. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months experience working in a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area, maintain equipment and a safe dock.
• Confirm accuracy of incoming merchandise and set up displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as needed.
• Direct the work of Associates assisting with freight flow.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store opening/closing as required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
