Job summary

Native Maine Produce is seeking a hands-on Receiving Supervisor to oversee day-to-day receiving, unloading, storage, and quality assurance. You will supervise a small warehouse team and ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of inventory to support production and material flow.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience, knowledge of WMS, forklift operation, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Forklift experience and familiarity with material handling equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Quality assurance of inbound products
• Adherence to GDPs, FDA, and USDA regulations within the receiving process
• Supervise daily receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team.
• Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and documentation of inventory.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support production and material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine training sessions for the Receiving Team
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.
