Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Independence, KY is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to ensure our receiving operation runs efficiently. You will supervise all receiving team members, oversee inbound/outbound product receipts, and coach staff on safety and accuracy on the warehouse floor.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll monitor GMP, COOL, and HAACP guidelines, manage staffing, review daily reports, and drive improvements while ensuring timelines and quality are maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• 2 years related warehouse experience preferred
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred
• Strong math skills and attention to detail; ability to coach and give feedback

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, unloading, checking, and safety processes in a cold perishable and freezer warehouse environment
• Ensure proper product temperatures are reviewed, validated, maintained and documented with date, code and count in WMS
• Ensure trucks are unloaded properly and safely
• Ensure all pallets are tagged and recorded appropriately
• Manage incidents and safety metrics and oversee pre-shift meetings
