Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to ensure efficient receiving operations and supervise the receipt of inbound/outbound products. You will coach the team on the warehouse floor, address opportunities, and maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership in a cold storage setting, adherence to GMP-like guidelines, and collaboration with HR on staffing. Weekend and night shifts are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• 2 years related warehouse experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, unloading, checking, and safety processes in a cold perishable and freezer warehouse environment.
• Ensure proper product temperatures are reviewed, validated, maintained and documented with date, code and count in WMS from arrival at dock until put away.
• Monitor safety, incident rates, and conduct pre-shift meetings; ensure proper PPE usage and training.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, retention, and training; participate in performance reviews and promotions decisions.
• Crosstrain in all receiving team positions to stay current on duties and productivity.
