Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Independence, KY is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee all receiving operations on the warehouse floor, coaching the team for accuracy and speed. The role requires active supervision, adherence to safety standards, and hands-on involvement in daily floor activities.

You will ensure proper temperature control, documentation in the WMS, and safe unloading while maintaining inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Two years related warehouse experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, unloading and safety processes in a cold perishable and freezer warehouse environment.
• Ensure proper product temperatures are reviewed, validated, maintained and documented in the WMS.
• Ensure trucks are unloaded properly and safely, and pallets are tagged and recorded.
• Monitor safety and quality programs (GMP, COOL, HACCP) and protect product integrity.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training and performance reviews.
