Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, picking, and loading for next-day delivery in Alabama. You will manage staff, ensure accurate orders, and maintain stock rotation.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and teamwork within the warehouse. Prior supervisory experience and forklift certification are preferred, with opportunities for growth within the fast‑paced foodservice distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 2 -4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Supervisory experience (preferred).
• OSHA forklift operator certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including: hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift and that they are loaded properly with correct paperwork.
• Ensures all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that first-in/first-out procedures are followed for stock rotation.
• Demonstrates strong service quality by ensuring staff understand their roles to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity and analyzes performance for improvements.
• Handles building security, locks/unlocks, and ensures safe operation of material handling; adheres to health and safety programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
