Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Alabama is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Sunday-Thursday 2nd shift. You will oversee receiving, order pulling, loading, and related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role leads administrative staff, coordinates pick planning, ensures FIFO, and uses the warehouse management system to maximize productivity. OSHA forklift certification is preferred, and prior supervisory experience in foodservice warehousing is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Associates/2-year technical degree in business management, logistics or related area preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in shipping.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience within foodservice industry.
• Supervisory experience required.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training and guidance.
• Ensures timely, accurate order pulling and that orders are loaded in proper stop sequence.
• Keeps warehouse stock rotated using first-in/first-out procedures.
• Upholds service quality and ensures staff understand their roles.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system to maximize productivity and analyzes performance.
• Maintains building security and safe operation of materials handling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
