Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery is seeking a Receiving Supervisor in Rocky Mount, NC. You will oversee truck unloading, ingredient issuing, and warehouse staff, ensuring FEFO, inventory accuracy, and secure operations across our two facilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Consumer Manufacturing Industry.
• A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory level role.
• A proven track record in documentation for all logistics operations, inventory control, procedure, task delegation and employee development.
• Experience with inventory scanning systems preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong Excel proficiency, including downloading, manipulating, and analyzing data to identify inventory issues, provide status reporting, and recommend necessary actions.
• Must be capable of building and maintaining an engaged, high functioning team and providing the motivation needed to drive performance.
• Must be Forklift Certified.

• Follow and enforce all safety standards. Must always be alert and use best common judgment.
• Supervise the warehouse maintaining a clean and litter free environment, i.e. sweeping, mopping the floor is mandatory as part of housekeeping.
• Ensure the warehouse is always secure, i.e. checking all access doors and making sure it is always closed. Question, control, and report people who do not belong to the warehouse.
• Responsible for all ingredients making sure the ingredients are properly organized and rotated applying FEFO with open date tagging.
• Responsible for documenting all outgoing ingredients.
• Ensure all inventories are counted precisely and report any discrepancies to the manager and buyer immediately.

The Receiving Supervisor reports to the Manager of Materials Management and directs all receiving and warehouse activities. This would include truck unloading, issuing ingredients, delegating tasks, and supervising warehouse workers.
