Job summary

Summit Interconnect in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Receiving Clerk to execute the receiving and inventory control of raw materials, ensuring they meet customer specs. You will generate job folders, verify BOM descriptions, and update the internal database with parts, boards, stencil, and RMAs.

The role supports production by segregating components, reporting discrepancies, placing held status on issues, and maintaining open communication with Sales, Purchasing and Production to resolve

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Receiving or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours and extra hours as required.
  • Operate a computer and basic software at a proficient level.
  • Good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the receiving and inventory control of different raw materials to insure that they fulfill the specifications of the established customer requirements.
  • Generate job folders and Bins according to work instructions.
  • Execute the verification of the PCB and parts descriptions with the support of the written specifications (BOM) to guarantee the acceptable quality standards
  • Inventory Received Parts and PCBs
  • Update the internal Database system with: Parts, Boards, stencil and RMAs received.
  • Segregate the components into marked separate bags for easy identification.
  • Report all part errors, discrepancies and questions into the database
  • Place all jobs with missing parts and other errors on 'Hold' status properly identified
  • Notify the Production Manager of part problems that are beyond your ability to solve.
  • Maintain communication with Sales, Purchasing and the Production Manager to resolve Inventory issues
  • Complete the documentation for all work done in the assigned section.

Position Summary:

What you’ll do:


  • Generate job folders and Bins according to work instructions.

  • Execute the verification of the PCB and parts descriptions with the support of the written specifications (BOM) to guarantee the acceptable quality standards

  • Inventory Received Parts and PCBs

  • Update the internal Database system with: Parts, Boards, stencil and RMAs received.

  • Segregate the components into marked separate bags for easy identification (Resistors, Capacitors, Reels, IC, THHP, ICs, SMT Hand Place, Thru-Hole, Extra Parts).

  • Report all part errors, discrepancies and questions into the database

  • Place all jobs with missing parts and other errors on “Hold” status properly identified

  • Notify the Production Manager of part problems that are beyond your ability to solve.

  • Maintain communication with Sales, Purchasing and the Production Manager to resolve Inventory issues

  • Complete the documentation for all work done in the assigned section.
