Job summary

Goldin, an eBay company, seeks a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to manage the intake of all consignments at Goldin HQ. You will work with Inventory, Auction Management, and Sales to ensure accurate processing, timely authentication, and prioritization of high-value items.

The role emphasizes meticulous records, inter-team collaboration, and improving intake efficiency to support smooth auction operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in receiving, inventory management, or logistics.
• Experience managing shipments from third-party graders or authenticators is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with high-value consignments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Inventory, and Authentication.
• Strong problem-solving abilities for handling discrepancies in consignments.

Responsibilities

• Consignment Intake & Documentation: Check in packages and assign Opportunity IDs.
• Review consignment documentation and flag missing information or lack of an Opportunity ID.
• Sort consignments by value and urgency for prioritization.
• Identify consignments arriving from PSA Vault and assign to existing IDs.
• Authentication & Third-Party Coordination: Check for required authentication and prioritize for evaluation.
• Manage shipments from third-party graders or authenticators and re-integrate into auction workflow.
• Handle intake of returned items and communicate next steps.
• Collaboration with Inventory & Receiving Teams: Log all items and distribute workflow across the team.
• Coordinate with Receiving Manager to balance workload and ensure in-person consignments are accounted for.
• Quality Control & Reporting: Conduct initial quality checks and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Consignor Support to resolve issues quickly.
• Organization & Logistics Management: Maintain organized records of all incoming consignments.
• Assist with inventory organization and hand-offs to photography, cataloging, or authentication.
