Job summary

Baseball Lifestyle 101 in Denver is seeking a Receiving Specialist to manage inbound shipments, verify quantities, and prepare goods for stocking.

You will enter data into the warehouse system, coordinate with inventory and fulfillment teams, maintain a clean, safe receiving area, and support returns when needed. This role is on-site with day shifts from 8am to 4pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse/receiving experience.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory tracking systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify quantities, descriptions, and quality against packing slips, purchase orders, or invoices.
• Inspect items for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Label, tag, and sort incoming products for proper placement in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with inventory, quality control, and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Assist with returns or restocking as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving and staging areas in line with safety standards.
• Follow all warehouse policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

BL101 began as an Instagram account started by a baseball obsessed teenager on his couch that started a community and has grown into something bigger than he ever could've imagined.

Today, Baseball Lifestyle has over 200 employees, retail locations in malls and tournament complexes, and can be found in various sporting goods stores around the country, like Dick's Sporting Goods, Scheels, and Academy. Summary of Role

The Receiving Specialist will be responsible for the accurateand efficient receipt of incoming goods, ensuring products are properly checked, documented, and prepared for stocking. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the timely fulfillment of customer orders. The Receiving Specialistwill report directly to the Receiving Manager.

Responsibilities

• Inspect items for damage or defects and report any discrepancies or issues immediately.
• Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software.
• Label, tag, and sort incoming products for proper placement in the warehouse.
• Work closely with inventory, quality control, and fulfillment teams to ensure proper flow of goods.
• Assist with returns or restocking processes as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving and staging areas in compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
• Follow all warehouse policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience (e-commerce environment preferred).
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and barcodes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and product inspection.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
