ESS Metron is seeking a Receiving Specialist at our DC near 70th Ave exiting I-25 in Denver. You will accurately receive, inspect, document, and enter all incoming materials, partnering with Purchasing, Quality, Stockroom, and Production to ensure material flow and traceability.

You will use Epicor Kinetic to record receipts, ensure correct warehouse placement, and manage the Receiving Hold area. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely processing to prevent production delays.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic preferred).
• Understanding of packing slips, purchase orders, and material identification.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and traceability.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain (a plus).
• Experience in a quality-controlled or ISO-regulated environment (a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Champion a Safety First culture at all times.
• Receive and verify incoming materials for accuracy and completeness per established procedures.
• Perform 3-way match verification (packing slip, purchase order, and physical product).
• Inspect shipments for damage and document and communicate any discrepancies.
• Accurately receive materials in Epicor Kinetic using handheld or desktop systems.
• Ensure materials are received into correct warehouse and bin locations, including QC or Receiving Hold when required.
• Label all received materials with internal part numbers, barcodes, and required identification.
• Scan and upload packing slips and maintain proper documentation in the ERP system.
• Manage the Receiving Hold area including tagging, logging, and coordinating with Purchasing and Quality.
• Stage and prioritize urgent/open parts to prevent production delays.
• Assist with internal material transfers between facilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving and dock area.
• Follow all procedures related to traceability, chain of custody, and inventory control.

About the role

Join ESS Metron as a Receiving Specialist and become a critical part of keeping our manufacturing operations running without interruption. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, documentation, and system entry of all incoming materials. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Stockroom, and Production teams to ensure proper material flow, inventory accuracy, and traceability — all while maintaining a safety-first mindset.

This position is based out of our Distribution Center near 70th Ave exiting I-25.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• This role operates in an active manufacturing facility.
• Candidates should be comfortable working near moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and occasional exposure to electrical hazards. Physical requirements include:
• Regular use of forklift and pallet jack.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

The pay range for this role is:

24 - 27 USD per hour (ESS Metron - DC Warehouse)
