Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in New York is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Clerk to verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.

Day Shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Responsibilities include determining shipment method, labeling, inserting items into containers, taping and labeling totes, and maintaining shipping-materials inventory. A High School Diploma and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short memos, and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Determines method of shipment.
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Inserts items into containers.
• Ensures totes, boxes and crates are taped and labeled.
• Unpacks incoming shipments and records shortages.
• Corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Routes items to departments.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
