Job summary

The AZEK Company operates at the Prairie Plant in Wilmington, OH, with evening shifts from 1:45 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers a pay rate of $21.50 per hour plus a 10% shift differential and eligibility for a $3,000 bonus, with $1,500 paid at 3 months and 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Forklift Certification – either current or in prior work experience.
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong attention to detail, reading, comprehension and good communication skills.
• Must be self-directed and able to multi-task in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Computer skills preferred, including basic ERP data entry on receiving/shipping processes.
• Flexible work schedule with advance notice to accommodate business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to safely unload inbound shipments of finished goods.
• Maintains paperwork for all loads.
• Verifies inbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly.
• Maintains clean and orderly warehouse and loading areas using 6S.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follows all safety and equipment handling procedures for a safe environment.
• Pulls rail kit components to be shipped to offsite suppliers.
• Loads trucks for outbound shipments of components.
• Receives and unloads incoming rail kits from suppliers.
• Assists in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision/management.

Job description

This position is at our Prairie Plant in Wilmington. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 1:45 PM to 10:00 PM.

Pay Rate: $21.50 an hour plus 10% shift differential.

This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus!

• Verifies that inbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly
• Maintains clean and orderly conditions in warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (i.e. 6S)
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety and equipment handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Pull all rail kitting components to be shipped to offsite supplier
• Load trucks for outbound shipments of components
• Receive and unload the trucks of incoming rail kits from supplier
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits
• Performs additional duties/tasks as assigned by supervision/management
