Job summary

Imperial Brady in Nashville, TN is seeking a Receiving Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The role focuses on safe, efficient receiving, stocking, inspections, and processing of incoming products within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to learn ERP systems and perform basic measurement conversions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications for tow motor, picker, and pallet jack operation.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.).
• Wholesale/distribution experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies, housekeeping standards, and annual training are followed.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, inspections, and processing of incoming products per procedures.
• Manage staffing, schedules, time-off requests, and workload to minimize overtime.
• Coordinate inbound freight appointments and cross-docking to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor department productivity and shipment discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate ERP entries and processing of lumping fees.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Order Processing teams.
• Train, coach, and motivate employees on receiving policies and procedures.
• Oversee material-handling equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
