Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Receiving and Inventory Supervisor for the Houston facility to coordinate all incoming shipments, supervise staff, and ensure accurate processing. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and reliable service to our chef customers.

You will maintain safety, monitor stock levels, and collaborate with teams to optimize processes while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries.
• Ensure incoming shipments are processed accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and train receiving staff.
• Monitor the accuracy of receiving records, including inventory and stock levels.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and control operational costs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize process.
