Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a Receiver to work closely with the Warehouse Manager, providing essential support to receiving, staging, replenishing, and inventory control while ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include coordinating receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards. The role requires leadership, teamwork, and strong communication to support daily warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehousing, or inventory control is required.
• Ability to analyze data and report to management clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supports receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating and coordinating procedures.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the system.
• Maintains warehouse conditions and ensures safety and compliance with standards.
• Records and reports discrepancies to AP, Purchasing, and Operations Management.
• Ensures inbound trucks are scheduled and product is intact on arrival.
