Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse, a leading broadline food service distributor, is seeking an Assistant Receiver in Miami to support warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, replenishing, and inventory control while ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately.

You will work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain safety standards, improve processes, and keep the warehouse clean and organized to meet quality and service goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership and success in implementing distribution best practices, especially receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze and report data to management in a clear, concise manner.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork; able to work with diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations; help enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by physical counts and data reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards; support cleanliness and OSHA requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations and cover other warehouse areas as needed.
• Record and report discrepancies to AP, Purchasing, and Operations Management.
