Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for its Manatee Distribution Center. Lead the receiving team to unload, verify shipments, document accurately, and ensure efficient put‑away while enforcing SOPs and safety standards.

You will drive accuracy in paperwork, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and continuously improve processes to support project schedules and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading a warehouse receiving department or similar high‑volume receiving operation.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain a highly structured workspace and issue-tracking system.
• Stand‑up forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Own the receiving process from start to finish, ensure SOPs are followed by every team member.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety gear and procedures.
• Count and verify inbound material against packing slips and POs, ensuring quantities and part numbers match.
• Oversee the put‑away process and ensure material is correctly labeled and staged.
• Direct teammates to accurately count, verify, and record inbound shipments.
• Research discrepancies promptly and follow up until issue resolution.
• Communicate with Purchasing, project teams, vendors, Inventory Control, and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Train teammates on SOPs, processes, and safety standards.
