Job summary

Fleet Farm in Blaine, MN is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee inbound freight and ensure accurate receiving for stocking by the Logistics Team. You will act as the main contact for inbound/outbound freight and maintain the receiving area's organization.

Responsibilities include training the team, planning daily activities, assisting with vendor returns, and collaborating with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies. A forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2 years of retail, logistics, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build teammate relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving operations and ensure accurate inbound freight processing.
• Act as the main point of contact for inbound and outbound freight.
• Maintain organization and integrity of the receiving area.
• Train and coach the receiving team; plan daily activities and assign roles.
• Assist in Returns to Vendor/Return Processing as needed.
• Provide input to Logistics Manager on team performance.
• Support Logistics and Yard Teams with business needs.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control to investigate inventory discrepancies related to receipts.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and other company initiatives.
