Job summary

Snap On is seeking a Receiving Lead for our Pleasant Prairie, WI distribution warehouse to supervise daily inbound and outbound activities, coordinate inbound material, and ensure on-time picking and receiving to meet KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma, two years in distribution/shipping with three in receiving, and experience with RF scanners, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment. You will train staff, support supervisors, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least two years in distribution/shipping, with three years in receiving.
• Prior lead experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment, forklifts, order pickers and RF scanners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct work assignments under the supervisor.
• Train receiving and warehouse staff on procedures.
• Coordinate inbound material and stocking to meet KPIs.
• Communicate status of orders and shipments with other departments.
• Verify receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Report discrepancies to Buyer/Quality Control.
• Promote safety and housekeeping within the department.
• Monitor receiving data and inbox; resolve issues promptly.
• Perform receiving/shipping clerk duties as needed.
