Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a receiving position.
• Experience with forklift is preferred and ability to maintain forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (phone, in person, email).
• Professional interaction with employees, customers and vendors.
• Knowledge of safe warehouse practices.
• Self-discipline and ability to complete critical tasks independently.
• Intermediate Outlook and Solar Eclipse System skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with problem solving and decision making affecting service and productivity.
• Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Train staff to meet company standards and procedures.
• Sort, count, and unpack inventory per procedures.
• Create and maintain product locations in the system.
• Inspect shipments for damages and document discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments on receiving procedures.
• Maintain organized paperwork and keep the receiving area clean.
