Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, located in Camden, SC, is seeking a Material Handler - Receiving to support inbound and outbound materials. You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, load/unload shipments, and ensure accurate staging and movement of materials to production areas.

This role requires basic High School education, familiarity with shipping systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; cross-training across warehouse tasks is expected to cover coverage needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with forklift equipment and warehouse safety practices preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of shipments.
• Assist in comparing purchase orders with invoices, BOLs and packing lists.
• Safe handling of all materials and finished goods.
• Organize and ensure received items are in the appropriate areas.
• Put away received material in correct storage locations.
• Accurate picking and line delivery of material timed per production needs.
• Assist in processing returns for incorrect or non-conforming parts.
• Assist in conducting regular cycle counts.
• Assist in recycling material and waste in the warehouse.
